Comprehensive Proposal to APA

AA and TWU Reach Tentative Agreement in Principle

AA and APA negotiators reached a tentative agreement on Equipment Grouping. This agreement will transition pilots from the current complex pay rate structure to a simplified pay banding system.

APA NEGOTIATIONS

The company has been in negotiations with the APA for 63 months, 43 of which have been mediated. Parties have reached tentative agreements on 39 items.

TWU NEGOTIATIONS

On Aug. 24, 2010, the MCT group ratified its contract. The company has been in negotiations for 49 months with all TWU groups, except Dispatch (65 months). The company has been in mediation with the Joint workgroups for 34 months, Mechanic & Related for 32 months and Dispatch for 35 months. Parties have reached tentative agreements on 85% of all open items. Three full-contractual tentative agreements have also been reached.

 

APFA NEGOTIATIONS

The company has been in negotiations with the APFA for 42 months, 34 of which have been mediated. Parties have reached tentative agreements on roughly 75% of all items.
