- Explore ways to achieve a competitive unit cost per release that promotes sustainable growth for the company and employment security for the dispatchers via increased productivity and effective cost controls.
- Explore scheduling flexibility that recognizes our dispatchers need for work-life balance and stability and allows the company to efficiently and predictably utilize its workforce through seasonal, workload and economic cycles.
- Address growing health, wellness and retirement costs by exploring market-based benefit plan designs and employee cost sharing.
- Examine ways to simplify dispute resolution processes and contractual language.
- Establish a results- or outcome-based compensation system that shares financial rewards consistent with the performance of the company and the productivity of the dispatchers.
