Pilot Scheduling and Reserve Proposal Summary

In conjunction with our efforts to share information about the status of contract negotiations, we're launching a series of videos that discuss the proposals we've presented to the Allied Pilots Association. These videos are intended to summarize the Company's positions and provide an answer to the question of "why did the company propose this and what could this proposal mean for me, if it's accepted by the APA?"

We believe that these facts, which have been shared with the APA in negotiations, may help each pilot understands the Company's position and the rationale behind it. In the first video (link), Doug Brown – Managing Director, Crew Resources – talks about our Scheduling and Reserve proposal, touching on sequence protection, the bid selection process, monthly max, the reserve system and other major elements.

In the weeks ahead, we'll post information from Company subject matter experts that provide the facts about the Company's position with respect to other major proposals – facts that already have been shared with the APA. I am hopeful that these can serve to help pilots to gain additional facts about what's happening at the table. Whatever their reaction, we encourage pilots to let the APA know their views about the issues.
