American is pleased the National Mediation Board has called for the parties to reconvene, while it continues to consider the requests from the union and the company. American's negotiating teams remain focused and are ready to get back to work at the table once the NMB sets dates to reconvene the parties.

Today, the American Airlines and Transport Workers Union Dispatch committees continued mediated negotiations with Mediator Terri Brown.

The day was spent in informal discussions about both parties' table positions and the airline's current financial status. We look forward to the mediator establishing the next steps and to continuing negotiations at a later date.
