Wages/Pay Rates

American currently ranks above average in maximum hourly pay rates for dispatchers.  The company is committed to remaining competitive in the industry based on the maximum hourly pay rates of other carriers.

American is committed to providing opportunities for dispatchers to increase their earning capacity through a results- or outcome-based compensation system that shares financial rewards consistent with the performance of the company and the productivity of dispatchers.

Like all other compensation issues, wage and pay rates will be considered as part of a total dispatcher cost per block hour to achieve competitive costs.
